NOTHING beats Friday night High School football. I couldn't imagine playing all my high school football games on Saturday afternoon.

Congrats to Ashland ! I LOVE seeing the boys from Ironton take a loss.

How's the flu/stomach virus situation at Boyd ? I believe the freshman game tomorrow will be canceled due to the amount of illness going around the school. I have a little brother who plays that came home sick today.

Nice come back win by Raceland. Congrats. I can't help but feel that Boyd gave this one away. It doesn't surprise me at all though. Boyd really needs to work on their secondary defense and the skill positions. I wasn't really impressed by anything either team did. I was impressed with the heart of the Raceland players. They never gave up. Again, congrats to Raceland on the win.

I know of one poster on BGP that came away from Boyd/SV scrimmage thinking the Lions were world beaters. I just wasn't that impressed :thumb:

I knew my earlier prediction would come back and bite me:lol: I've settled down since Boyd's scrimmage and the reports out of the Raceland camp have given me a bit of hope.

I assumed the Freshman team was in with the Freshman QB, they looked much smaller. At that point in the scrimmage did SV have their varsity in ? I just wasn't impressed with Boyd's secondary throughout the entire scrimmage.
