Forgive me if I missed it in the prediction thread, but someone tell me something about this Cedar Hill team. What class are they in ? Are they ranked in the state ?

Way to finish the half EC. To be honest, neither team looks outstanding. I'm amazed that Elliot has kept it this close with the terrible shooting from outside and the size advantage Cedar Hill has.

Timmy Knipp really impresses me with the way he handles the ball for his size.

Elliot is slipping all over the place.

Congrats to Elliot and their fans on the win. I'd love nothing more than to see the small school cut down some nets. Not saying it will happen but if my team can't do it (and there is absolutely no way my team can this year:lol:), Elliot is my second choice. It still blows my mind that this team has so many people who want to see them fail. I don't know how someone couldn't enjoy a team like this. Maybe I'm missing out on something.

Agreed. :thumb: You can't play your starters for only a couple of quarters every time you get up big on a team. I'm sure there are plenty of things the Elliot starters could have worked on while actually playing in this game and not running up the score. Slow the ball down and have your kids work on some set plays. Maybe play some zone on defense if your kids aren't used to playing that. There's plenty of things you can work on in a game while your up that much that you wont get the same results if you were to work on them in a practice. It's fun to play though and you don't punish your players who work hard all week for playing well enough to build a 30 point lead. I'm a Boyd fan and I don't see anything wrong with the score. I think it's mostly been people not associated with Boyd complaining. :lol: Again, congrats to Elliot :thumb:

Good win for Boyd. I had heard that they don't have a ton of talent on the team this year. Is this true ? Coach Fraley will get the most out of what he has on any year. His teams always have a hand full of bruisers.

A lot of people are not going to take getting beat by Elliot well this year. I knew going into last nights game that Boyd was going to get destroyed. Elliot is simply the better team, nothing wrong with losing to a better team. I personally enjoy watching and following Elliot when I get a chance. It's a great story and how anyone could have a huge issue with their success is beyond me.

They should be... Elliot doesn't find teams like this often (not many teams around the state do). I see nothing wrong with the Elliot fans enjoying the success. It's hard not to like Elliot in my opinion. A small school that has a chance to really make some noise around the state this year. I love it even if they did just beat the team I follow by 65 points :lol:
