Kentucky Bank Shootout Elliott County will play South Charleston WV.

I'm still picking Elliott County to win by 12 in this one. Should be a good game for Elliott County.:thumb:

How many classes are there in W.V?

When I lived in WV, I remember it being 3 classes.

As far as South Charleston, they have a good squad, almost always do. However, the level of HS hoops in WV is not on par with HS hoops in KY.

I know that Huntington High has around 1,700 students.

3 are correct and A, AA and AAA.

A · 0-337

AA · 338-618

AAA · 619 or more

I'm going with South Charleston. I don't feel the Lions early season schedule has prepared them for a tough game like this. Hopefully the EC boys prove me wrong though.

Thats true but I think the EC boys will pull of a close one!

EC by 5

Elliott County will win this gam eby 8-12 points.

South Charleston would be a top 5 team in KY. Year in, year out they contend for the state championship. I work in WV and get to see a few of these games, and have friends whose kids play for local teams, Huntington High for instance. And I agree, Huntington High hasn't been too strong these last couple of years.

Actually, I do agree somewhat with the notion that WV overall is not on par with KY, perhaps on the lower end of the scale, but the Charleston area and Wheeling area teams are top notch.

^I hope you're right.

Their pre season games should help them for this one. They thumped a good & talented GRC team by 20+. They also beat a not so good John Hood led team by 30+
