Maybe Boyd should have played a little more deliberately.

132 is still a bit much. You can't tell me Elliot's JV is that much better than Boyd's VARSITY if indeed EC only played their starters 1st and 3rd quarters. What was the halftime score? I'm sure EC was up by atleast 30 so why would the starters even play AT ALL the second half?

I was simply implying that there would be no need for their STARTERS to play at all in the second half. They obviously have more than 5 varsity players.

I had heard that the Elliott starters only played the first and third quarters from someone at the game. Classy move by Elliott's coach. Elliot could have scored 200 + in this one if they wanted.

The team had 49 in the first quarter, so that's not all the unreasonable.

So the starters dont deserve to play more than one quarter? I think sitting them the fourth is a great gesture by Coach Mays. These players practice daily and deserve the chance to shine for at least two quarters on game nights.
