If BC continues doing the same thing they have for the past few games I think the results will be the same in the future. Adjustments need to be made in games and practices in order to get better, so far I have not seen proper adjustments being made. Congrats to Elliott Co. tonight.

I agree. It looks like they ran it up pretty good in the 1st quarter. A team can only score 132 points if they are running and trying to score as many points as they can. I believe it's a little much. Slow it down. It's obvious who the superior team is, does beating someone by 60 prove anything? Remember, these are kids, why try to humiliate them?

I had heard that the Elliott starters only played the first and third quarters from someone at the game. Classy move by Elliott's coach. Elliot could have scored 200 + in this one if they wanted.

Wow, Ferguson can really put the ball in the hole, I don't care how bad the competition is, 27 in one quarter is not easy to do.

 

I would think that the Lions must really have been playing as a team for any player to have scored 27 points in one quarter.

Mr. Wooten added this game to the BC schedule after taking the head coaching position. He should have known what he was getting into. I really don't know how productive this contest was for either team. From some of the post, I gather some people feel Elliott Co. ran up the score. Guess what guys......other teams don't have to be "nice" to BC because they are having a "down" year. Elliott showed class tonight by not playing their starters a whole lot. They, nor any other team, should feel obligated to do this.

Elliott County's style is run, run, run on offense and their defensive style is just good aggressive, hard nosed, all out defense.
