That's because they don't play defense like Elliott Co.:lol: These boys are amazing, and the most fun to watch team in the state. I don't blame EC fans for going over the top sometimes they have a special group of kids that come along once in a lifetime in a place like Sandy Hook, and there are alot of people on here that bash EC because of how proud the fans are of their team. I really hope to see Ferg and gang hoisting that big trophy come March on Saturday night in Rupp Arena.

My son watched this game and Elliott only played starters 1st and 3rd. Hey you have to play the game. I'm all for sportsmanship, but sometimes you're just overmatched.

Most pro teams dont score that many and their game is alot longer.

Most pro players can't hit a jumpshot like Elliott's shooters can either or are as fundamentally sound. :thumb:

These young men from Elliott, like many others across this great state, put a lot of time in together in practicing and preparing to excel. I believe they understand their abilities, strengths and weaknesses, better than most teams I've had the pleasure to watch.

 

These young men, have worked not only in conditioning and strength, but like many others in our state, toward their Basketball abilities. They may not realize it now but they've inspired many young kids, to strive for being the best, they can possibly be.

 

Elliott was better than Boyd tonight and they will be a tough match-up, during the year for many. Ferg, keep playing well but lose the beard....

Congrats Elliott on the win. I was at this game and Elliott played very well. They are a very fun team to watch. But I am not taking nothing away from Boyd County because I thought they shot the pretty good they were just up against a lot better team tonight.

Everyone in attendance said it was Boyd's best game of the year. That tells you how talented and explosive that Elliott is.

Not sure why you are getting wound up. I could care less if they played the whole game. My point earlier was that someone stated that NO starters were in the 4th Quarter, but YES Knipp DID start the 4th Quarter. Now with that being said, I could care less.

 

See, this is the problem with trying to be a Elliott Co supporter. Myself, like the majority of folks around my area, are rooting for the little guys to achieve their goal, but dont start posting like the post above taking offense to everything. I graduated from Boyd and I have NO problem with what happened last night, so use your second official post on BGPreps to post something positive about like how good your team did.:thumb:

This was Elliott's best game shooting the ball so far. There defense is still not there yet but it will be soon. Ferguson put on show in the 1st half he had 27 points on 5-7 from 3 land. The Twins played there usual steady game and T. Knipp played good for a second stright game. C. Knipp played pretty good to. I look forward to the game on Saturday vs South Charleston.:banana::dancingpa

By the way, that Number 0 for Elliott that played Guard in the JV game is going to be a special player too if he can get a bit more size on him. What grade is he in?

Very impressive offensive display by Elliott. If Boyd tried to run with them the whole game I don't see any reason for anyone to be upset by the margin. One thing that I don't understand though: If the starters only played the 1st and 3rd quarters as many Elliott supporters have repeatedly pointed out then how did Ferguson score 41 points in 21 minutes. High school quarters are still 8 minutes aren't they? That would mean he played almost 3 quarters. I think the starters deserve more than just 2 quarters in a game but it almost seems like a slap at Boyd by saying that they were beaten that badly with only 2 quarters from the starters.
