1. 2005: Pendleton County winning the Region for the first time since 1971. 2. 2001: Watching Steve Sigmon and Co. lead Campbell County to the title. Camels won the 9th in '46 and '60. My grandfather was on the '46 team.

Coach Biggs won his 4th consecutive district title last night. He won the first three with Pendleton County in the 38th.

Congrats to Coach Listerman. I once played for both him and Gary Forrest on a couple of teams. They both are not only good coaches, but good people. Steve Wright deserves to be apart of the staff as well! Go East!

If for some reason Harrison does win..O well..they dont have a shot in the region anyways...Pendleton Dont either...its just not the same not having a Belcher in the field house

Congrats to Coach Kelsch and the Panthers for making the region for the 2nd consecutive year. It's not always easy to do when you're a class "A" school. The whole town should make bright orange shirts that say "From the River to the Region:Round II.":D Like All In said, it's gotta be tough for St. Pat to not make it out when your opposite of Mason County two years in a row. But that's life sometimes. Congrats to the Saints on a good season. How many did Owens end up with?

Not sure on that. My dad played against him in High School and said that he was a great defender.

Holy Cross had a guy named "Turkey" Jones. He played for the Indians in the mid-70's.

In most seasons(and I think that Devilman would agree with me) the Deming Black Devils would have no chance at winning a district title. But this year I believe they have a legit chance of winning the 38th. They play Nicholas County in the first round and then Pendleton County/Harrison County if they would happen to win. All four teams have a record below .500. Deming did win the 38th in 1994. What do ya think?
