Hilltopper2005 Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Final as Coach Kendall and the Breds will pick up their first ever 38th District Championship with a win on Friday night. Harrison goes 13-16 while Pendleton ends the season at 10-14. It didn't sound pretty, but it is a nice hard fought win for the Thorobreds.
polarbear1994 Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Congrats to the Breds... good luck in the final and next week in the Fieldhouse.
romeo 4 president Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Congrats to Harrison Co. they just outplayed the Cats tonight. Way too many turnovers in transition opportunities for the Cats. Tough way to end a great career for Kane Belcher. It will be strange not going over to the Fieldhouse to see PC play this year. First time in a while.

HOOPDR Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Congrat's to coach Kendall and the Breds. Good Luck in the Regionals.
polarbear1994 Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 They have to beat Deming first. Which I dont think they will do.
pastorhenry23 Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Great effort for PC!!!HC just wanted it more!!!They deserve it!!!Great win for the Breds!!!
shootdathree Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 An average pc season comes to an end, now the Simms bashing can start.
All In Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 They have to beat Deming first. Deming has to beat Nicholas first and then HC will beat either one in the championship.
striker Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 An average pc season comes to an end, now the Simms bashing can start. Coach simms did a very credible job in his first season as the head guy. He just did not have the horses as buddie did the last several years.

Probably why Buddy moved on as a lot of coaches do when they know some of the classes coming up are not what they have had in the past, but Pendleton's time is a coming(just gonna be awhile).

He just did not have the horses as buddie did the last several years. He probably won't have the horses for years, so this is what you have. I didn't say I was bashing him. This season is typical pc basketball, the last couple Biggs years is not something anyone should get used to.
hchs Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 bang up defensive effort by Weston Jenkins, Josh Curtis, and Simon Clouse on Belcher. Belcher scored 17, but had to earn every one of them. Nice production from the HC bench...Franklin, Custard, Puckett, Clouse. All contributed to the win. Now it's time to come back to earth and get ready for Deming/Nicholas
CAMEL1 Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 I know it was not what the cats wanted, but it was a good first season for Coach Simms. I think from what i am hearing in our younger team play, the future of the cats is bright.
