Scott HS 65 Pendleton Co 54

The Eagles notch their 19th win of the season beating PC @ PC. It didn't look pretty at times, but a win is a win. If Scott makes their free throws, they win by 20+. They need to shore things up by next Tuesday.

Sharp (16-17), Miller(18-20), and Smith(9 or more) are the leading scorers for Scott.

Kane Belcher for PC played a very good game. This kid is a outstanding player.

Not easy to beat PC @ PC. Tough to get a good call there as well. Good win for the Eagles.

Congrats to the Eagles and their 19th win. Not many people would have thought in November that this was possible. Hopefully we can make it to 20 on Friday night...

I think Belcher had about 30 points.

Good road win at a very tough place to play.:thumb:

Interesting statement since it would have been basically the same officials that Scott would have had at their place or that other schools would have. Are you saying the officials that travel and call games from Berea to Alexandria, change how they call based upon what gym they are in.

This is not officials that Pendleton chose. They send in their schedule and the officials are assigned out of the assigning secretaries office. Pendleton has nothing to do with picking the officials who calls their home games. And that is BOTH at the JV and Varsity level.

Good win for the Eagles. Pendleton may be in trouble in the first round of the districts.

It should be a good game. Both games have gone down to the end when they played during the season. Each team won one game.Sounds like they may win or lose just like a lot of other teams will.

Tough for who? Pendleton? If you want to see home cooking go to Franklin county.

The calls were very fair last night. The fouls were even. I don't know why people say this about Pendleton.

Belcher is a great player, and a great kid. Hope there is a good future waiting on him.

Are you kidding me right now? First of all, I am not in elementary school and I understand how assigning works. Secondly, if you tell me that people don't get calls in their own gym, you obviously haven't seen much basketball. Lastly, Pendelton plays well at home, that was the point of my post. On top of that, I've seen games there where the opposing team doesn't get the same whistle. Fair is fair, truth is truth and good luck to both teams in the districts.

By the way, Coach Simms has done a great job in his first year as Head Coach. Not an easy task to follow the success P.C. has had. I hope he continues their tradition in winning basketball games.
