1987 was the year and it was the district tournament. Don't forget about a point guard on that team that scored all 8 points Mason had in overtime to send Mason County on to the win:thumb:

Watching Pendleton Co win the region 2 years ago. The Belcher dunks, Elliott manhandling the post, O'Hara 3 pointers, Verax in the paint, Elrod's side shots and Mains handling the top of the court...awesome.

To be able to watch my child live through winning a championship just like I did at her age.

I have to agree with 1996 and saying that Myrick/Fawns slug fest was a true pleasure to watch. It was definately a special moment for a bunch of special players.

 

Also, last year when the Augusta Panthers made the regional tournament for the first time in 23 years.

Any chance you think a Miller-Knowles sluggfest like that could accure Sunday.

Definately could happen... Two great athletes and great players in the Regional Finals... Definately could happen!

The Brossart run to their one and only Region Title.....

I didn't think it could get any better than the way they won against St. Pat's in the semi's, but it did against Mason in the Finals....Two of the most exciting games I've ever witnessed on any level!!!

PC in 05. Crowd was amazing. Hundreds outside could not get in to final game against Montgomery.

Stinger you are right... I was one of the unfortunate ones on the outside looking in.

That shot broke my heart as Maysville closed their doors that year. Thought it would have been fitting for Maysville to end their storied history with a region title, but it was not meant to be.

PDHAY, I was all for Maysville, being downtown with them and all, but it was a great game. With an exciting finish.
