  1. Not sure. Most Ohio schools are limited by the 10 day rule, only 10 coaching days in the summer. Trying to get a practice or 2 in, then trying to schedule games is so difficult. I enjoyed it when I was at Ripley. we even played in a rotating summer league with Augusta, Bracken, and Deming. Rotated to each gym and played 2 games a night. It was great experience for my kids. Good luck to all teams this summer.
  2. Really surprised. I remember when we used to have Eastern Brown, Georgetown, North Adams, and other Ohio teams that would come play. I brought Ripley when I was there. It was always great to play a different style and different teams not normally on your schedule.
  3. per Danny Weddle on Twitter. Congrats to Desarae and the Lady Saints program. She is a an outstanding young lady, both on and off the court.
  4. I was really disappointed in 1995 when they lost to UNC in the Regional Final.
  5. I have no inside info, but would guess she stepped down on her own since her daughter just finished playing.
  6. Danny Weddle ‏ @DannyEWeddle St. Patrick girls' basketball coach Elaine Douglas has resigned after five seasons. She had a 78-58 record.
  7. What about Kelly's 90210 years? or the fact that she is married to Peter Burke and lives in New York now?
  8. Olivia Newton-John in Grease. All I can say is WOW:thumb:
  9. But we all know what kind of freak Jessie turned into. She should get votes based on that alone.
  10. I enjoyed the Goose island Brewery out in Wrigleyville. Had a great time there. I also enjoyed Lou Malnati's pizza. The butter crust is excellent.
  11. Again. I wish I was GM. It is just what I would like to see. I definitely don't see it happening. Just wishful thinking.
  12. Dodgers are in financial trouble as is. Why wouldn't they make a deal. If I am the Reds, I offer the above and whatever other minor leaguers they want. You asked what my lineup would look like, that is what I would want.
  13. My lineup 2B-Phillips LF-Heisy 1B-Votto CF-Matt Kemp RF-Bruce 3B-Rolen C-Mesoraco SS-Cozart SP Cueto, Billingsly, Leake, Arroyo, Chapman I trade Stubbs, Alonso, and Bailey and a prospect or two for Kemp and Billingsly. I would do whatever possible to make this happen. Kemp would hit 50+ HR's playing half his games at GABP.
  14. I don't like the 3 QB's either, but not my league. I do however have 3 starters, where as other do not. Of course the one guy drafted his 2 QB's (same bye week), and one of them's back up. RB's are not great, but hope they are solid. If, Mendenhall, Jackson, and Lynch can stay healthy. Or if Charles goes down for KC.
  15. 12 Team League. Required to draft 3-QB, 5-RB, 6-WR, 2-TE, K, and DT. I drafted 11th. QB's-Rothlesberger, Cassell, Fitzpatrick RB's-Mehndenhall, Jackson, Lynch, Thomas Jones, Mike Bell(FA) WR's-Boldin, Bowe, Julio Jones, M. Jenkins, Royal, Cobb TE-Dallas Clark, Dustin Keller K-Bryant, Scobee DT-Chicago, KC
  16. Actually I was thinking of Hernandez of the Brewers, but it isn't right either. But he is up there in K's
  17. What position? Wasn't there a shortstop from Chicago that struck out alot? Gonzalez???
  18. Derrick Lee. I could not remember his first name.
  19. Wasn't the firstbaseman from the Cubs a few years back a starter? Lee?
  20. Poetic justice if Fullmer could come back as the AD.
  21. So sorry to hear that. I just saw her and her mom about 3 weeks ago. I could see how excited she was for the upcoming season. Hopefully good news and a speedy recovery. Good kid from a great family that is true Deming.
  22. Down Periscope, just makes me laugh. Cannot turn it when it is on. Roadhouse, I mean, who did not want to be Dalton. Mallrats, just one of those movies that has stuck with me since college. "Somewhere uncomfortable? You mean like the backseat of a Volkswagon?"
