What a beatdown! Impressed by the Lady Royals! I do not want to get anything started but what is going on in Fleming County? They seem to be majorly under achieving lately. Something needs to be fixed.

Mason Co held their star player Kaitlyn Emmons to zero (0) points. Great Defense!!!! A very good game by Keller Menke who had 28 pts and 9 rebounds.

Keller Menke's 28 points lead Lady Royals to a 66-43 win over Fleming County

 

Keller Menke scored 28 points to lead the Mason County Lady Royals to a 66-43 win over the Fleming County Lady Panthers today at The Fieldhouse. The Lady Royals jumped out a 16-5 lead in the first quarter and had a 23-2 run in the first half. Menke was 10-of-15 from the field including 1-of-1 behind the arc. She was 7-of-8 from the free throw line and grabbed nine rebounds. Beth Queen added 10 points. Fleming County star Kaylyn Emmons was held scorless. Mason County plays at Holy Cross Monday night.

I was thinking the same thing. The FC girls were a force when they were in Jr. High.....what has changed?

Congrats to the Lady Royals and their coaching staff. I had the pleasure of scrimmaging them in Nov, and could tell they were much improved. They are really aggressive on the defensive side of the ball. Good luck the rest of the season.
