  1. I understand that they will be playing with the Queen City Prophets.
  2. I thought that I read an article about Calapari saying that he does not let walk on players dress for games. He only uses them in practice settings. Is that correct?
  3. :thumb::thumb::thumb: I totally agree. A move would be in the best interest of each of the players.

  5. We have had a couple of teams play in the Sports Plus under the new management team. It has been a disaster!! Very poorly run tournaments and lack of communication. We will not be sending any teams back. My recomondation for anyone looking to play that weekend to look elsewhere.

  8. You can scratch Mike Listerman. He is very happy where he is at and is very happy with the new leadership at Covington Catholic. I would be very suprised if he has any interest.
  9. Are you playing in the BCI event? I understand that Derek Smith will be bringing their teams up to play in Florence Kentucky.
  10. I was told at the state tourney by some of the Holmes fans that Rico, JJ and Elijiah will be playing with Queen City Prophets out of Cincinnati.
  11. I was told that Derek Smith picked up Timmy Knipp from Elliott who played with Indiana Elite last year and Remy Abell from Easter High School. He will play on their 16u team with Robbie Stenzel. I was also told that Chad Jackson, Josh Sewell and Austin Flannery who played with OBC last year, Dylan McDaniel from New Albany Indiana and the big man from Lexington Christian Will Evans have joined the Shining Star 17u team that won the state tourney last year. Can anyone confirm?
  12. I was told this weekend that Tyler Broyles out of Raceland was going to attend Thomas Moore. He should be a very solid addition.
  13. Now that the high school season is done. Where will the top players in Kentucky be playing this summer? Who will have the better AAU teams?
  14. Brian Romes of Beechwood will be attending Mt. Saint Joseph.
  15. Every year it seems we debate what offers the top Holmes players will be getting. If none of these players are making the grade and getting valid test scores what does it matter? They will all have to go the JUCO route. I don't think anyone can debate the job Dave Henley and his staff have done on the basketball court. But why are none of these players in a position to attend a 4 year school? What needs to be done to get these kids on the correct path in the classroom? Greg Rice, Austin Hill and Arrez Henderson could have all played D1 ball but could not meet the needed GPA and ACT scores. It looks like Elijiah Pittman and Ricardo Johnson are on the same path according to other posts.
  16. 6'11" Freshman? Does he have a good skill level? Weight?
  17. I think most of Mason County thought of Neal as a football player first and a basketball player second. I think after this year Neal and the faithful will have to look it him as a basketball player first! Neal has been a big part of the run that this team is making.
  18. In there last matchup Highlands went to a zone. Boone struggled big time with the zone.
  19. Highlands and Holmes make it to the championship game. Holmes runs away in the championship. Highlands is a bad matchup for Boone. Highlands smacked them around pretty good in their meeting earlier this year.
  20. It doesn't appear that Popp is much of a factor for Boone anymore. The last couple of games that I had the opportunity to see he didn't play much. He has been relegated to a couple of minutes a per game.
  21. I was wondering if Ryle could score more than 30 points the rest of the season!! If Beechwood can get to 31 they have a great chance of winning!
