Who will win the 9th Region?

Featured Replies

I saw similar threads for other regions and I was wondering what everyone's thoughts are? Also, any predictions about who will make it out of each District?

Holmes...

I'll go with Boone in an upset. The interesting fact is this: Boone can look ahead to the 9th region tourney - Holmes cannot or else they could get shocked in the first round at HC.

Very true. Boone will have to beat either Heritage or Cooper to get in to the region tourney.

Even with the recent upset it's hard to not pick Holmes here.

As far as who makes the tourney and outcome:

33rd: Boone (Champion) Ryle (Runner Up)

34th: St Henry (Champion) Dixie (Runner Up)

35th: Holmes (Champion) Beechwood (Runner Up)

36th: Highlands (Champion) Newcath (Runner Up)

Region Tourney Predictions:

Holmes v Newcath

Boone v Dixie

St Henry v Ryle

Highlands v Beechwood

Boone is the favorite. :sssh:

I like Lloyd over Dixie in the 34th, maybe Conner over Ryle in the 33rd.

I picked Holmes to come out of the 9th in our contest.

Holmes over St. Henry in the finals!

Boone and Ryle

St. Henry and Dixie

Holmes and CovCath

Highlands and NCC

Holmes to win it all.

I like Lloyd over Dixie in the 34th, maybe Conner over Ryle in the 33rd.

I really like Lloyd too in the 34th and would love to see them make the region tourney, but Dixie is playing pretty good ball right now. (Ourside of the loss to HC)

Ryle has beaten Conner by 27 at home and by 9 on the road. With Conner really struggling lately, I just don't see them getting by Ryle.

This would be the perfect scenario for Highlands. I hope they get another shot at Beechwood on a neutral court.

Wow, what has St. Henry done to make you believe they will get to the finals of the tourney? Seriously.

Take out Dixie and replace with Lloyd, and then everything looks dead on.
