I noticed in one of the Holmes threads that their projected starting lineup next year will likely be:

Mayfield 6'0

J. Johnson 6'4

R. Johnson 6'5

K. Rice 6'6

Pittman 6'7

That's pretty big for HS and that's assuming none of those boys grow between now and next year.

Who else will have pretty big lineups next year?

6'6 Purvis

6'9 Zollo

The scary thing is Pittman and Rice still have room to grow. If Elijah and Kavon both put another inch or so on and Elijah adds 15-20 pounds of muscle those 2 can be scary.

I agree. I didn't believe it when I heard from several people that Elijah played not above the rim, but above the square...once I saw him, I became a believer very quick.

How big is Elijah and Kevon's dads? I've heard Elijah's is in the 6'8-6'9 range but Kevon's is 6'3-6'4?

Mason returns good size don't they?

Mason will have good size next year as well. Not too sure about who will start for them next year but their front court will look like this:

Pawsat 6'4

Barner 6'5

Setty 6'7

Brewer is still here. I may add Daniels 6'6, Howard (Freshman) 6'11, Fatkin, 6'4 or better...not sure on this one.

Zollo, Pervis, Howard, and Fatkin still have room to grow some more. Yes we will be very tall.

Will Brewer be the starting pg next year?

GRC will indeed be very big. I like their chances of winning state when those boys are seniors. I'd very surprised if they didn't with that current sophomore class.

Depends how he improves this summer. As of now Martin would get the nod. Also have a player that didn't play this past year, constrate on another sport, that I heard may come back...he is good.

Also have another kid that had medical issues and did not get to play this year. If he gets healthy, he would help. Also have several guards that played JV this year. If they improve over the summer....we will have more options. Most of these kids are Sophomores, so we are still young and who knows who will step up next year.

Thanks for the inside info. I look forward to seeing these young men progress over the next several years.

How big is Martin and what year is he? Will Stenzel, Zollo, Rogers, and Purvis be the other 4 starters like I had projected?

Martin is a Sophomore ..around 5'8 or so. Yes I see the others starting. Daniels may fit in too ....depends on how he improves this summer...hey maybe he could be our PG....at 6'6..

Thats about right... Eli has alot of room to fill out and get bigger if you look at his frame too. Kevon as well when it comes to adding bulk. I don't see Kevon getting much bigger than 6'6 or 6'7 but I can see Eli at 6'9 or so when its all said and done.

Is Martin another Ryan Williams type player? I really liked what I saw out of him in the region tournament at BOKC. Very quick young man with a great work ethic that could guard pretty much anyone on the floor out on the perimeter.

Doesn't Elijah have a 7 ft wingspan as well? If he gets to be 6'9, he'll be a load. Kevon as well, if he can add another inch or two. Both need to hit the weights hard, especially Rice. Elijah looks as if he put on a lot of weight and strength since last year though, so hopefully these next 8 months in the weightroom and more time to grow will help him fill out his frame more. He definetly has room for it.

Elijah reminds me a lot of Justin Doellman from Ryle several years ago, only with more overall talent and athleticism.
