Well it was in the first half,which I am assuming was against the starting defense where if there was good throws it would have easily been 6 points, on at least 3 occasions that I remember.

J.C. cruises to an easy victory. This game was over early.

This is going to be a long year for the Lions unless these kids really step it up.

I will agree that if P'burgs QB was on in the first half like he was in the second half this game would have been alot different.

This score ended about as I thought, although P'Burg did score their last td against the younger players. I thought the running offense looked pretty good tonight especially between the tackles. Matt Thomas again had a good night running as did the O-line blocking on the run straight up. We missed quite a few open receivers tonight and against a good team that could really hurt you. The passing attack is really going to have to step it up for this team to make it deep in the playoffs.

Probably just the one that has the winning advantage.

As far as the been there before quote, Ashland has lost a few games to Raceland over the years, but has been on the other side far more. I'm not sure where all of the handling of the loss came from as far as your true fiasco comment goes. Not to take anything away from Raceland, they are a very good football team and deserved to win that game. Ashland received that game as a wake up call, but I don't know where all of this comes from. Was I and the Ashland community disappointed with the loss? No doubt. But I never saw any of what you are talking about. This win meant alot more to Raceland than it would have to Ashland had they won. Now that it's a loss, it meant that we needed to find and corrected our problems and we have for the most part. These comments are obviously from someone who is acting like they haven't been there before.

Indeed, even after only a game or two into the season.
