It was dissappointing to see this. As far as the game it was a great game and Ashland did not fold however after missing 4 or 5 layups that maybe would have made this game not so close. Ashland and it's seniors get to keep playing and hopefully can make it to the state tournament.
UK's problems this season comes down to fundamentals or lack thereof. Yes the players must execute them and when they don't it is the coaching staff's responsibility to practice/punish them until they do or get someone else off of the bench that will.
Never is an awfully big word.
This year, next year or the year after I would agree that it wouldn't happen after these years but if the next few seasons are poor years then he possibly might be 'forced' to retire.
