I was driving thru Catlettsburg this afternoon and I saw and old tractor on a trailer and it made me wonder if they were maybe taking it to get it ready for the ride into Ashland for friday nights game.

This is the game of games for those of us of years past. What every football player looked forward to every year. Ashland has been able to control BC in the last few years but Boyd Co is improving just at the right time this year just as I thought Coach Evans would be able to do at BC if left alone. I believe it will be a tough game for the first couple of quarters but Ashland will pull away late and will win this heated rivalry 28 - 13.

Maybe they will move it to Saturday.

But don't judge them on their schedule, they proved last year they can win it all with a weak schedule.

Mason Co will win this game by 10 and more if it's at home.

I think Boyd will get the best of Greenup, and win by 7.

This score surprised me a bit. Either Ashland didn't play too well or Mason is a lot better than most figured. I heard Ashland had 7 fumbles. Way too many. I didn't hear the Slone kids name last night. Did he not play because Bonner was back and going both ways and saw little action?

Coach Evans system sounds like it's starting to take hold just in time for the big game with Ashland.

The final of this game will show that JC is not looking ahead to anybody. JC should win this game by 7 touchdowns.

Yes, that's right Ashland got beat by a 'good, not great' 1A Raceland team. So there's no reason for anybody to worry about their Friday night game with the Tomcats this year.

I hope all of Ashland's opponents judge the Cats by the way they played in the Raceland game.

Both teams are in desperate need of a district win. Lawrence Co has showed little signs of life this year while Boyd although not much better has shown some good things in their losses. Boyd Co 28 - Lawrence Co 13
