I for one think it is time for Woody Jr. to again grace us with his keen knowledge and wit. That is of course when he gets finished passing out his "Woody Jr. for Paintsville Mayor" cards and kissing all the babes at the Apple festival. Whataya say Woody?

That may be true...but I really don't think it will matter. Ashland will roll in this one.

I think that Ashland could possibly show up thinking about that matchup thats 2 weeks away as they did last year but it wouldnt matter. Lawrence Co. is the worst team in the district IMO and Ashland will name the score in this one. I plan to come watch this game for what its worth. My prediction:

Ashland looks to rebound from a tough game with Mason Co. with an easy win over Lawrence Co. I don't look for the score to be much different than Greenup Co. Ashland 42 - Lawrence Co 7 .

This week should be a easy week for the Tomcats.

I don't think I will take any game for granted, and the way Ashland played last night they can't afford to overlook anyone! To many mistakes, misques, for me, it is week 7 should not be having Center/QB exchange problems at this time of the year! Not sure whats going on there? To many dropped passes also, but I think you would have to credit Mason Co. D-fence for some of those! I am sure Lawerence will come to play an not roll over like some think! I seem to remember seeing post that Ashland would handle Mason with out to much trouble, Problem is somebody forgot to tell MASON CO. lol.lol.

If the Tomcats stay focused and are not looking ahead, take care of the business of this game I will say Ashland by 3d's. I can also promise that Lawrence Co. kids will not quit and they will play hard and if the Tomcats are looking past them then they are in trouble.

I have friends at Lawrence County and after speaking with them this past weekend I can assure you that the LC kids are hungry for a "W". As others have stated the Bulldogs will show up believing they are the best team on the field.

The Tomcats are a very well coached football team & seem to be getting the team leadership that is important this time of year so I think they will also show up for work with all their tools in place. This game will be close early but the Tomcat skill people and O-line will prevail. Tomcats continue to roll.
