Ashland vs. Lawrence Co. Predictions

Featured Replies

I have heard the same.

When Johnson Central played Lawrence County the gentleman I am refering to was there, he was wearing LC clothes from head to toe.

I see the Cats winning 45 - 14.

Ashland has way too much for the Dawgs this year.

Ashland 35

Lawrence County 7

Cats stay focused and they win 45-7

This game is over quick!

Ashland 49

Dawgs 6

I know what gentleman you are referring to. PM me if you have any insight as to why he has been attending LC games in recent weeks.

Don't you mean head to flip flops.

Kudos to Ashland's kicker for keeping them in the game the first half of Mason County game. If Miller would have connected on the reverse - pass I think the outcome would have been different for the Mason County game. I like Ashland's size on their line. They are a good team and will overpower Lawrence with their running game. Also Ashland's play action pass to #3 is scary. Ashland - 45, Lawrence - 6

Sadly, I see the tomcats coming out on top by 35. Lawrence is still a couple years away from competing.

Yea... he was wearing flip-flops.

What I look for most in this game (other than a win) is whether the Tomcats can come out focused and determined to take care of business or flat and not taking LC as a serious challenge. At this point of the season, with every game having District significance, there SHOULD be no such thing as an automatic win.

Until Ashland puts together a flawless performance, we have things to work on. I would like to see the Cats get through this game without any turnovers, especially fumbles (lost or recovered). I hope the D stays hungry and goes for another shut-out.

Dont even look at the scoreboard...play each play like it was your last.

And for twenty-some of these kids, their high school careers will be over in about a month, so now is the time for them to really start to think about improving and making a run deep in the playoffs because twenty years from now they will look back and (1) wish they were playing still and/or (2) wish they would have worked a little harder and thought about what was happening at this time of their life which is the best time of your life.
