LN, I believe most teams (kids/players/coaches/fans) would like to play as long as they can, and if you are a Senior player its much more, so playing Trinity in the first or second round will end it...each week is so precious as you move on. Male last season with a first year coach had a decent season but did very well and surprised a lot of folks going to the 6A final game, they play Trinty in the first round...I kinda repeated myself there sorry.

CAL played very well against Male, so I see them winning this one. I haven't seen DeSales so I give no score.

2006 was when my kid played and his last play was a block to the defensive end for X. My other son also had a win over X, this year. Hey, you have to grab hold when you can. Good luck to both teams and keep everyone safe. In the first game X kicker got hurt on a field goal right before the half. The score was 35-0 at the time, just reporting the facts here. As a kicker's dad I hate to see these guys get hurt when its not necessary. This game will be different, not saying Male will win, but it will be hard played.

The KHSAA could spend some time and research other states and try to get some ideas that works for them and in plant those ideas that do work in Kentucky. Its all about the kids!

Not true at all on geography for the Disctricts. There are several schools closer to Trinity than Manual/Male. We did a map od all the 6a schools, and its really not even close. Even St X is out of range compared to schools who are.

I'm sure JJ would take 20 yards in rushing and a win, compared to 150 and a loss. I have no dog in this battle.

I don't know, they don't let me on if I wanna talk about Bama.^^^ Glad to see how players got to play against a team they didn't match up well. Nelson County fans don't feel bad, Male lost to X 49-7 and it was over by the 2nd half. And thats who we play friday.

I love football been around it since 1960, I'm 58, and seen a few games. And great job to JJ. The pounding/hits a running back takes during a game/season /career is very familar to me. I think its a wonderful feat and I'd love to see it broken..There is some kind of saying about this. Enjoy it and good luck next week and in the future.

Whose record is it? I'm sure that the head coach has had conversations with Jude's parents/Jude/Assisant coaches AD/. Like Rockmom said, Jude doesn't tell the AD what teams to play and the coach when to play him and take him out. Great job kid! Its the other teams to stop him..See scores on the palyoffs, its the teams job to keep the score close.

Hoosier, didn't mean to be a jerk in my comment to you, I'm sorry. I have this huge pressure in the back of my forehead due to a Saturday nite dinner I have with Mama. I enjoy your feedback. Hope you forgive my comment. I'll answer part of your question and let a Trinity/Manual person the rest. Male is in the same District as Manual/ St X/ Trinity. But why no one knows. We drew up a map of the City and there are closer schools to Trinity than Male/Manual/St X. So boundry wasn't the reason. Now the JVs/Frosh do not have to play each other. Our JVs/Frosh played all three teams very well. No one from Male that we are aware called or sent a message the KHSAA to complain. I agree Trinity should go to the finals, but X might give them a game.

Shaun, broke records at Bama pretty good school with thirteen National Championships. He broke a record as a Freshman against LSU and rushed for 291 yards and didn't play much in the first half. Helped a team get to the SuperBowl and was a NFL MVP and has NFL records too.

All Tell, wanting us to win against Meade and X so you can shut us out for the third straight time. No where on this site have I said anything close to this kind of Statement, hoping a team loses so they can "shut us out." In the past years I have pick the Rocks to lose as a Joke, and the Rock fans always knew this. I never picked the Male/Trinity games. I respect the private schools and I don't want any kid who wants to go there not get in. Your statement, well thats ok I'd never say something so harsh about another high school team. I've even stated many times how I pull for the Rocks when playing out of state teams, and still will do so. Thats the way I was raised, to show class.
