6A Second Round Sites

Featured Replies

Is there a reason why all the info on the KHSAA site shows that the 6A sites are TBA? All the other classes show where the games will be played.

Not sure. But we're at home. As is X. If we both win....PJCS.

Don't we travel third round?

I apologize...after that game is what I meant. 4th round.

yes...go Butler

That will be cool. I remember when we played them regular season and going to a game or two out there. That will be fun - provided we get that far. One at a time. Nothing for granted.

Wow, Rock fans pullin for a local public school...That is so nice, I'm give back all the things I have said in the past about the Rock fans,,oh wait I never had said anything bad about them. Good Luck and hope everyone is safe.

True and my reason for pulling for Butler is purely selfish. Assuming we are there I would much rather take a trip to Shively then to HEnderson. Simple geography is all.

Don;t go counting you;re chickens! I remember seeing Steve Jewell, Darrell Culver, Eddie Patton and a host of other Butler Bears maul Trinity in the 1970 State Championship game 20-0. There's a hungry bunch of Bears out of hibernation and they're prowling Dixie Highway these days. Rocks may want to reconsider that trip to Henderson, provided they escape a Tiger the week before.

Point taken.

If memory serves me right Morris Manley, Jeff Stoops, a WR named Kannapel and a crew of other Bears pulled out a similar victory my Senior Year of HS when they won State over the Rocks. It's been so long ago my memory is a bit fuzzy. Different times and programs today...I like the Rocks chances in Shively nowadays
