Final.

Ouch!

The Big Two scored a lot of points tonight.

I texted Tony Vanetti today and told him, 140 - 0 would be the cumulative score of the two games....X ruined it for me.

Last year of 6A for Nelson, next year they split into Nelson County and Thomas Nelson H.S., will be 3A or 4A.

Seems likely that NC will settle in 4A with the likes of Marion Co. and that bunch. I would anticipate TNHS to be in 2A with Bardstown.

they scored a pick six against X's 2nd team. Then they scored on a pass down the sideline against X's 3rd time. So you was almost correct..Sorry.

Man, you people....^^^^

Although I hate to see runaways like this, I must admit that I thoroughly enjoyed so many different people getting gametime action for the Tigers. There were five different quarterbacks, and at least ten different running backs who touched the ball for the X-men. Defensive stars linebacker George Stone and safety Patrick Semersheim even got some action at tailback, and both looked very good carrying the ball.

On another front, I must complement the fans, coaches, and players from Nelson County. I had the opportunity to talk to a number of them tonight, and I found them all to be extremely cordial and friendly. They just all seemed like "good people". :thumb:

Least you had the class enough to try that many different players. I guess when your so caught up with the national papers you become callouus to idea of sportsmanship. The few times my Alma Mater came across ST. X they have a grasp on how you should win. There people would openly discuss football and players from the opposing side with parents from the other team. Guess who we played tonight???? Best of luck thruought the playoffs.:ylsuper:

Did you actually say you like to be right every now and then? Who are you and what did you do with RP?

I with others on this...I don't like to see games like this. Congrats anways to X on the win.

Did you hear how our onside kick return for a td wasn't counted due to inadvertent whistle right before the half?

I bet the ref thought the X player was going to just fall on it and had the whistle blowing as he caught it. Heads up play by the kid who recovered it.
