A very nice post. But its OK, I have debated religion issues for over 12 years and I try to let the Bible do the talking, it doesn't change, and who trieds to change it? These people who want to just argue with me or put me in a bad light I pray for them and care for them, they are really good people who love the site, and who knows they might read a verse that someone puts on here and they could have a life changing moment. I want to go to Heaven and take as many folks as I can. But I/or cannot anyone can Save them, Its simply Jesus and a relationship that they have to ask for.

The world is full of false religions. A church should let a Gay person in it, and then try to convince them to repent and change their Sinful life...God doesn't change, man does.

I don't mind being equal and gays getting benefitys fior their special person, but don't call it a "Marriage" thats not gonna fit. President Obama said Marriage. He will lose the Christian vote.

If I use the word as describing a group of people I'll do that. It aslo is a form of respect to them. Someone on here got on me because I always wrote "vols" and nd" (Norte Dame). This was because I had no respect for them. I since now try not to do it that way.

On thursday morning on Good Morning America the Prez does an interview with Robin Roberts. I saw it on Yahoo and I guess he was asked about Same Sex Marriage and he told her he was for Civil Unions but now he said now believe its time for me to come and say I am for same sex marriage. In reading the article he said he discussed this with his staff, family, and Gays. In the past he always kinda avoided the question, but now has came out said "I'm for it". My feelings are if two people want to have the benefits of a married couple I have no issue, but the marriage or use of this word goes against God, so I differ with the President

I have a long way to go as I try to be understanding to thoses who are different, and as a parent of 4 sons they have taught me more about others than I probably have them. They have some friends who are gay and they get upset when I tease and say things inside our home. I have done very well with this department on them, but need to grow so much more. I'd have no problem of a gay person being my kid's coach/teacher/leader as long as he did his job. But I also would witness to them about Jesus Christ many times, so they have to deal with me too.

So, you would be Ok with it. I'm not sure. But to some folks it would be very serious. I've had issues with straight people in these positions, but who they had a realtionship was not one of the issues.

Not sure, he says things a lot where we look at each other and wonder.. Mama felt I mis understood his comment. And it could have been by me. Gay people I have no issue as long as they keep the marriage word what its meant to be. I have said on here and in the Courier-Journal that two same sex cannot be married, but they can and should have rights as a Union same sex couple. Would you want your child as a teacher/Scout leader/Coach/cousin as a gay person? My first wife's cousin was a gay guy who passed away due to AIDs before he was 30. I inter acted with him as I would anyone. This past Monday Leonard Pitts wrote an article about Matthew Vines a Havard grad at 22 who talks about his Christian walk as a Gay person, Mr. Pitts raised some intreresting points. I emailed Mr. Pitts and shared some verses, His secretary wrote me and said he will respond later.

Mr. Alighieri, has no clue, go to Luke 16:19 and read what this guy Jesus says about Hell. In fact Jesus spoke about Hell more than any other person in the Bible.

We watch this show every nite we are home, Mama loves to play this game. On tuesday nite's show this guy in his early 30s was a great player. He had won up to $25K before the last puzzle where he goes for the big prize. Before he spun the little wheel Pat Sajak said "who do you have in the audience? The man replied "My Mom, brother, cousin and my boyfriend Dennis". He then spun the wheel and it stopped and Pat said "My, My, My", As they walked to the spot Pat turned to him and said.."don't follow too close"...Mama said it was just Pat talking but I couldn't tell if Pat was being funny or what. He is very witty on the show. So, let me ask people on here who think this life style is OK, why do we still have some issues with the Gay people? Why do the Gays have a closet they have to come out of? Why do some states still disapprove of the word marriage for Gays? North Carolina is there anyone on here who is Gay and we don't know it? Why isn't there Gays running for President or any higher office? Just wondering. I have met some really nice people who were gay and I treated them as I would anyone. If no one answers these questions I'll understand, just thought it was funny on the show..
