Great game by both teams. How is the kid from HHS that took the elbow. The worst no call I have ever seen. The big guy from BBHS should have hit with a flagrant foul.

Why wouldn't the senior trip take place after the school year. That is how most other schools do it. Then everyone could go out for the team. I don't believe there is any team in N KY that has kids go on spring break and miss baseball.

I don't know how good Schroeder is but the head coach from NKU showed up to watch their center.

Time will tell about Coach Flynn. You can't judge on this year because of injuries. With no Grote or Grubbs and Kowolonek playing at about 50% because of his knees this team finished where you would expect. It is a shame. But you can't blame Flynn for the injuries. Unfortunately Highlands goes into next year without a lot of experience but lets give the coach more than one year to prove himself.

Looks to me like something the kids enjoy. I am sure there is no disrespect intended. No one liked it 20 years age when the Michigan kids started wearing the long baggy shorts. Who is to say which way is right or wrong. Let the kids have some fun.

Cov Cath has to be the favorite. They are the class of NKY frosh teams in my opinion. I don't think they have lost to a N KY team yet.

If I remember correctly in 2005 Highlands had at least 5 or 6 freshman that played reserve for most of the season. They also played frosh ball every week. Josh Conner would carry the ball 20 times on Thursday night and 20 more times on Saturday.

Does anyone know the record of Cov Cath V Highlands in the last 10 years? It would be interesting to see at all levels Frosh, JV and varsity if anyone knows.

Highlands controlled this game from the start. The game wasn't as close as the final score. The Birds defense played great. They executed their game plan to perfection. There was no room for Cov Cath to run the ball and the give the short pass philosophy worked brilliantly. Of Cov Cath's 214 yds passing 70 probably came on the last drive of the game.
