Point Guard play continues to haunt the Birds. Late in 4th qtr point guard can't get ball across half court and gets a 10 second call in a one on one clear out situation. True controlled the backboard. Turner and Granotte played well. But overall there is too much thinking before shots. Houliston didn't shoot that much as evidenced by no field goals. Not just position players but line wise as well, speed has gotten the Kobe done for highlands in recent years, obviously.The quarter back position/ passing game is not as good but the running game is better, substantially, just cause they don't succeed as much through the air doesn't mean their whole offense is down.I don't understand why last years offense was better when this years team has scored more points and played Scott co the second when last year they played dixie the second game. I do not disagree about the defensive side of the ball, but the offense is just as good. IMOIf they continue to score 54 a game, They will be just fine.Spoiled by last years team? This team has scored 21 points more than last years team at this point in the season.Cov cath may have the best d in 4a but I predict (barring injuries) highlands will score 40+ against them in 17 days.

HHS would handle SK with ease. Come back to reality.Highlands has scored more points through the first two games this year than last year. They're second game last year vs Dixie and this year Scott Co. Just because they lost towles doesn't mean they can't be "2011 good" when has highlands ever peaked in the beginning of the season? Too early for this thread IMO.This will be game of the year over HHS vs CCH?But also the last 7 points were boyle counties varsity vs the highlands JV , it was a shutout in the 2nd half until the last minuteThere was also a top 6 impact players from the junior class, in that same article and Harris was on that. Collopy does play for NC.
