Does anyone have a list or know about any high school lineman camps available during the summer dead period?

I understand that three starters of the 06 offensive lineman ( Robey- Griffin-Kupper) all return along with part time starter, Mattingly. Schweitzer has started some at center and played all JV games last year. Stein at QB will be the key to the success of Trinity. Looking at last years roster on the website there should be 31 seniors on the 08 team.

I understand that the J.V. QB from last year Brutcher will be the Q.B. and the Zoller kid will go to fullback. The O line is still going to be the problem especially if you saw the T-X J/V game last year the QB spent most of his time on his back. The new field will be great can't wait for my nephew to get to play on it in a few years.

I think the order of finish for 2007 6 A, should be something like this: Male, Trinity, Manual, St. X, and Ballard. I can only see X winning if there are many coaches changes on the coaching staff. If you look in the past X has won many Freshman and Junior Varsity Games against Male and Trinity but when they get to Varsity they have to deal with being beaten by Trinity and Male, who has better coaches. I think the J V game this year against Trinity was a blow out for Trinity and I know Male also beat them this year. I think the new stadium will be great but stadiums don't usually win many games, as far as I can see.

PRP will be very good lots of returning starters, X always look good at freshman level then falls short of everyone expectations could be the varsity coaching Male looses alot of seniors this year and the tank appears pretty empty for a couple of years. Trinity will struggle early because of the loss of Petrino at QB Could be the year of LExington teams!!

At the last UofL football game, I heard that two offensive lineman starters from this year, Roby and Griffin were asked about playing tight end. This supposedly came from Coverdale for next seasons team. I don't see the X transfer playing a pass catching position for the Rocks and he could even have a hard time playing on the offensive line with Coverdales complicated schemes, maybe a defensive lineman position. But as several have stated in the past there hasn't been much success from football transfers to Trinity.

MBA football schedule for 07- shows a game August 24th against Antioch at MBA ? Who will replace MBA if they don't play Trinity at MBA on the 25th:argue: ?

I was at the doctors office building today and found out Wes Weitlauf will have surgery on Wednesday morning to repair leg. We all wish him the best!

where would they put Trinity now that they beat Male High School ??

It really dosen't make any difference the best team will win regardless of where the game is played, but this selfish decision will stop many local football fans from seeing a great football game, I believe about 500 fans were turned away last Friday at the X- Male game and that is a shame. It is someones blind personal agenda that is driving this decision to play at this small facility. I don't know why they are concerned, I saw what the two Male players said on T/V Friday night about beating the two private schools on consecutive weekends, why even play this game, it appears there is already a winner. Good luck to both teams and have a safe game, it is a shame that many fans won't get to tell their grandkids about this game because it was sold out.

I don't think she went out this year. She was not listed on the rooster or did not make the team. There are several freshman playing with the varsity, not sure if any sophs are playing basketball at all. The tall girl from last years freshman team quit after tryouts, don't know what thats about either, Assumption seems to be loosing allot of players recently. I heard that Sacred Heart lost ollot of girls this year too.

I see that Trinity started #51 on the offensive line for ther first time, does anyony know who he replaced. I guess that the Trinity coaches must not be totally satisified or they would not be making O line changes this late in the year. I had heard he was working with the first team form the last two weeks, does anyone know anything about this situation?? I also head that a senior quit Friday before the Ballard game anybody know anything about that. Did the J/V team play Saturday and if so did they win??

The J/V team may be the best that I have seen in along time, there are several who really stand out and should be getting some varsity time, I think #20 Defensive End,#81 Kicker #51 offensive lineman, I hear he is working with the first group as a offensive guard, maybe something is in the works. I heard that several players were going to the funeral home, for the brother of a former player or student who passed away, does anyone know anything about this, if this is true our prayers are with him and his family. Rocks will romp 44-6.

The J/V game is has been cancelled due to the Varsity Game being played at 5:30.

Trinity vs Seneca football game has been changed to Saturday night at 5:30, I think that is the time someone told me, I thinks is is because Seneca plays Fern Creek tonight to finish Fridays game. Go Rocks:ylsuper:

Rocks are not in a must win situation, they did not already have rings and shirts and sweats made up before final game last year. Rocks are not tourney ready and have not peaked, but X appears to be hitting on all cylinders. No shock if x wins but see you in december, and don't ever think any game is a sure bet when you play the rocks. 21-17:dancingpa

It appears that ST X changed their policy for this game,there were several Juniors that played today, on the o/l and the d/l, or maybe these kids were held back and several of the St. X soph were red shirted at their grade school. What was the problem with St. X defensive tackle # 90 he seemed to want to talk trash most of the game and he even tried to start something with the Trinity Kicker {common a kicker vs a defensive tackle) and several other players but he didn't appear to want to mess with his opponet on the line I think it was # 51 or #58. Trinity just played great today, their second great win this season, the first was a win against Moeller.

WHY BASH THE SCHOOLS WHO PLAY JUNIORS. I DO BELIEVE THE J-V HAS ALWAYS BEEN CALLED AND STOOD FOR "JUNIOR VARSITY", I CANNOT EVER REMEMBER ANYONE CALLING IT SOPHMORE- VARSITY OR MAYBE THEY DO IN CINCY AND AT X.

With what Moeller did to the X freshmen something like 51-6 the X men are getting a little nervous. Why would a Xmen, referee and parent even want to get into this discussion about the Big "T" I guess they just they can't get over the worst lost in history to 16 time state champ Trinity 2005 .:dancingpa
