X vs T Decision / Your Thoughts

Featured Replies

I really feel awful for the X and T Srs. You wait your whole life for this one BIG game and then you get to play for 10 minutes. I think they should resume tomorrow. UL is away. Stadium is open.

I think we would all agree that this is not your typical regular season game.

Maybe I am in the minority and making a bigger deal than it really is. What do you think?

I concur. PepRock is perturbed over this decision. :irked:

I agree....play Saturday...for the seniors

The rules don't allow for it simply to be a "no contest" anyway, so why not play?

I didn't see much football tonight, but what I saw was all Rocks. These two teams can still meet in the playoffs. Considering the football that was played, I'm sure the X players have pretty sour taste and would like the chance to show that they are better than they showed tonight. X was getting spanked pretty good when the lightning struck, then again maybe lightning struck a few minutes earlier by the name of Tim Phillips.

It might not be possible to resume Saturday as maybe there could be conflicts with U of Louisville stuff even if it is an away football game.

But maybe Sunday evening would be better. They should play the game.

I don't think the KHSAA allows for Sunday games.

Just like the JV game it appeared that Trinity just lined up and smacked X in the mouth and X was not responding well. I know there was a lot of game left to play but Trinity had just recovered an X fumble and likely would have put more points on the board. I just feel like it was Trinity's night. What a shame.

KHSAA has no rule against Sunday games.

I'm with ya on this. Trinity was looking really good when play was suspended. I would have loved to have seen the outcome.

Considering this probably wasn't the only game cancelled we are forgetting that there would be a lack of officials to officiate the games since a majority work college games.

I do feel for all the players involved, but these two teams will more then likely meet again in the playoffs...when it really counts.

Now we know why lighting is yellow.

Man did Trinity look good and X look bad.

Why was Vic going out of the game so often so early? Is that the normal rotation?

Hopefully we'll get to meet again in November.

I heard that he was injured actually.

I agree that X was down and out, especially with T having the ball yet again. However, regardless of the outcome, I wish they played the game.
