I was at the North Laurel/ South Laurel Middle school game tonight and was told North Laurel cancelled the game???

Clevenger and Def. Coordinator Bobby Joe Lawson will be good next year and be dangerous the year after-

This game is being played earlier than in the past. Any reason? Who is going to benefit more from playing earlier in the season, North Laurel or South Laurel?

Quinn rushed for 90 yds on 12 carries, some other stats include the Bowling kid going for 21 of 34 for 235 yds and 4 Td's while rushing for 2 more. SL rushed for almost 200 as a team and 7 different receivers caught passes on the night being led by the Bailey kid with over a 100 yds receiving.

They ran the ball very effectively tonight- who was #8?

Came to see what all the fuss was about with the Lewis and Cashen kids and was a little disappointed. The Lewis kid only threw the ball a few times and the Cashen kid threw a TD on a broken play in an offense that had three backs most of the night. I thought Corbin was a spread team?

I have no idea about Boyle County or Henderson County, but I feel that Coach Pardue would always live in the shadow of the great Coach Smith and his many accomplishments.

I got to watch Corbin Qb Clint Cashen tonight for the first time ,expecting this big time prospect to be the next coming of Tim Couch, according to the posts that said he was a 4 star recruit. All I saw was a QB who threw to who the coaches told him to instead of reading defenses and reacting accordingly. A 4 star recruit- I did not see tonight, Am I missing something??

I finally got to see Clint Cashen of Corbin play the other night and the people on here who claim he is a four star recruit must be seeing something other than a Qb who lines up and throws the ball to who the coaches tell him to. I watched him against Paris and North and seems to have trouble recognizing coverages and the routes that work against them. I don't see how people are rating this QB as a 4 star when most of his passes were errant.

I went and watched South Laurel's Spring game Thursday night. The offense and Defense looked very well. I think the Bowling kid threw for like 4 touchdowns and looked very poised. The defense looked most improved, forcing a few turnovers and bringing the wood on every play. I heard the Bowling kid was invited to the Nike Elite QB Camp in Atlanta on Friday. One of the coaches told me that he performed very well. I don't know much about this combine, I know the Nike Combine where all positions are invited, but I was told this was for Qb's only. I thought that was pretty good for just a sophomore. The coach told me that there were a lot of big time schools there evaluating all the Qb's, which totaled about 50. Does anyone know about this type of combine?

I predicted a lot closer score, but this is tournament time. South's big 3 really took a back to seat to Jordan Bortman tonight. I think Hammonds only had 5 points and Proffitt & Smith finished well but started a little slow.

If Moeller does come to log mountain I hope it is a Saturday so that I could be there to watch
