WOW--Beating the ultra-talented Holmes team three times this year is no small task. Some lucky district winner gets to draw an angry Bulldog's team in the first game?? Good luck to both teams next week!!

If these two meet in the finals it will be hard for CC to beat them again.

The three games were decided by a total of 8 points, including one overtime!!

I'm sorry the Bulldog's lost tonight. It was a very tight game after the first quarter. I have faith that Holmes can pull through.

If thse two can get to the championship game on March 13, Holmes finally gets Cov. Cath. on their home court. Cov. Cath has won by 1 on neutral court in O.T. by 4 on home court and by 3 on home court. They have got to wonder can we win on their home court and beat them for the fourth time in a season. Holmes has got to be salavating at the chance to get Cov. Cath on their home floor for a change.

I will stay with my prediction in the other post. I think the home court will tell the tale for the 9th.

Tell that to the people in the 10th.:sssh:

When is this team that everybody has been saying for 3 years is the best team in the 9th and is by far the most talented going to beat somebody ?

CCH I believe has now won 5 out of 6 and 8 out of 10 against this bunch. The CCH radio guys had a great stat tonight, last years district finals were won by CCH 50 to 47. Of that 50 CCH only returned 11 points from that game(Todd Jacobs and Kurt Bovard) the other 39 were made up by 4 graduated seniors( Tierney, Noll, Young, and Landrum) and injured Billy Schult. On the other hand Holmes had all 47 of last years points on the court tonight and still could'nt win. Sooner or later someone has to ask the question as to whether Henley can get the job done, has the off the court distraction just killed these guys or are they just not as good as everyone thought.

Naw, Holmes is the team that must wonder, can we, with all the talent that we have, really beat CovCath? You see CovCath already knows that they can beat Holmes, but can you really say that Holmes thinks that they can beat CovCath? Sure you have the better talent, but CovCath still has the better team, and has proven it three times now......You could see the look of shock in the eye's of the Holmes players as CovCath won yet again.

Don't want to be the only dissenting vote but if you can beat them 3 times you can beat them 4

I was at the game and Holmes should of pulled out that win. The problem I see with Holmes is they are so undisciplined. They were up with a minute left and didn't have to shoot. They go right down the court and throw some garbage up...Holmes could of just pulled the ball out and let CovCath foul them. It's a shame with all that talent and they can't get it done.......

It would seem to me that CCH already knows that they can beat Holmes. They've beaten them 3 times, but this CCH fan isn't hoping for a 4th matchup.
