colonel-fan Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Is this official? Did I miss the announcement? According to the Moeller sports calendar, the schools play in Pinevelle on September 22, 2007. 2007 Moeller Boys Varsity Football
FamilyTradition Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 It looks like mighty moe was looking for a southern powerhouse. I can't believe they dropped CovCath for BellCo.
CentreRocks Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 No offense to Bell County, but why would Moeller go to Pineville?
Log Mountain Boy Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Bell will have a very good football team this year. I think it will be one of the best teams Bell has had in a while. This will be exciting.

colonel-fan Posted March 1, 2007 Author Posted March 1, 2007 No offense to Bell County, but why would Moeller go to Pineville? To find somebody to play them. Moe, as do the other GCL South teams, often struggle to fill their schedule. Moe had a home and home with Hendo recently, so they aren't shy about traveling.
Log Mountain Boy Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Will it be better than the 2004 team? I think it could be. They dont have a player with the speed of Robbins, but the team returns so much from last year. The thing is they should be even better in 2008. This team will consist of a lot of juniors and sophomores starting. And there is 2 soon to be freshmen who will probably be on the field somewhere. Bell's middle school system has had an unbelievable record for the past 3 years. Those boys are getting up into highschool now and will be very good!

If a team is going to match up with Moeller, they need excellent play. Moeller will have very big lineman.
westsider Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Moeller coming to town ... quite a coup for the boys at Bell County. Great addition to the schedule.

That's great!!!! Were talking about Cincinnati Moeller here, were not talking about playing Highlands. Best of luck because you guys are going to need it. When you played Highlands in 2004 and the Birds had a pretty solid football team. Try playing that same team who have 5 Mike Mitchell, 5 Jorden Nevels etc,etc

theguru Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Kudos to Bell County! However, be careful what you wish for. Moeller is normally big, physical, fast and year in and year out as good as any football team in KY.
