Not only did we dump the pot, tdyballgame won split the pot. I remember them trying to give him a check and he said, we aint leaving here without cash in hand:laugh:

I heard the other night that Bell was thinking about playing Moeller but decided against it.

Why would they decide against it?

I don't have any details, but I'm sure a lot of people decide against playing Moeller.

Why would they decide against it?

Maybe second thoughts or the Fire Chief told them the fire trucks weren't available for the weekly parade around the track!!!!:D

If Dudley is the kind of coach, and maybe I'm wrong, that believes to be the best you play the best and you have a team like Moeller willing to drive to Pine Mountain, I say you play them. You might loose the game but in my opinion Bell would gain respect.

I could have heard it wrong, but I thought the comment was that they were thinking about playing Moeller but decided not to.

Could be an easy one for Moeller. We'll have to see how wet the field is if the game happens and hope Moeller only brings one kind of cleats.

I believe that Bell was in negotiations for this game for some time. I don't believe that it was ever confirmed or worked out. Bell had two open dates to fill with one of them the last week of the season. I do not think Coach Hilton wanted an open date going into the playoffs. May be good for pros, but not high school to have a week off then. Recently, Tates Creek was added to the Bell schedule for that final week of the season. That fills their schedule, I believe. I don't know where the Moeller game fits in all this, but I do know at one time Bell was pursuing an Ohio power and looking forward to playing them on a Saturday at Bell.

If Moeller does come to log mountain I hope it is a Saturday so that I could be there to watch

Don't tell me I was a premature congratulator ...

Wow!

No offense to Bell County, but why would Moeller go to Pineville?

A Harbin Cow.

Its not going to happen. Bell has 10 games and wont be playing Moeller. I think Bell's 5 non-district games are a team from Tenn, Tates Creek, Leslie County, Sheldon Clark, and Lincoln County.

No Middlesboro or Corbin!!!!!!!!!!! That drives me nuts that those 2 schools won't play Bell.
