  1. Lofton is another player that has been a disappointment this season.
  2. Go Cards!!!! Up by 10!!! Keep it up!!!
  3. I agree. He has been a waste this whole season. I wonder what happened?
  4. I agree, and if Louisville gets that far, I think they will beat UNC
  5. I just checked it out. It is a really nice website. I'll pass the word in the 14th region.
  6. I saw one at Buckhorn Lake in Perry County a couple of years ago. I also saw one at Lake Cumberland two years ago.
  7. I agree, plus it's way to subjective. We had a student that we gave a distinguished on their portfolio. They didn't agree and knocked it down to a novice. We questioned this and resubmitted it to the state to rescore. After 7 different scorers (trained by the state department) they decided it was a proficient. (2 scorers gave it a novice, 2 a distinguished, 1 proficient and 2 apprentice). If the rubrics and guidelines are so exact, how would this happen. This is what I questioned with the assessment department of KDE, but they just give you the run around if you ask questions like this. :creepy:
  8. I agree with you!!!! Louisville definitely has a chance to win it all this year. Georgetown is better than Louisville.... I think this game and this season as proved that Georgegown and Louisville are pretty compatable. They are both good teams, but both have different strengths and weaknesses. I don't understand where you get this, when Louisville beat GTown at Freedom Hall by 8 and Georgetown beat the Cards by 4. It had to come down to this game to decide the #1 spot in the Big East, and you say that Georgetown is better. Who had the toughest schedule? IMO the Cards and I feel that overall the Cards are the best team in the Big East !!!! I agree with you on the free throws. That is the only aspect of the CARDS team that is terrible. I don't know what can be done to fix this problem, this late in the season, but it would be a huge plus if there were improvements in free throws. I just bought a new Cards tee shirt that says it all. On the front it has 24-7-365. On the back it says Cardinals Basketball ... there's no off season!!!
  9. He is the nephew of the famous Billy Hicks, coach of Scott County and who he (Jim) wants to be just like him (Billy). As Augger stated earlier, if you want a show on the sidelines, it is worth the price of the ticket to see Jim perform. But I thought it was about the athletes.
  10. It's snowing again. Maybe we'll end up with more. I would like to see one good snow, since we haven't had one in several years.
  11. I think it will be a closer game than you think, but I think Breathitt will pull it off in a single digit win.
  12. I agree Augger. I thought it would have been closer than this. Anyone at the game that can give details?
  13. Congrats to Coach Moore and the the Lady Cats.
  14. I like your thinking. Sometimes, players can get too feeling they are "the bomb" and it hurts them during tournament time. You're right again, Pitino has used this loss tactic to his advantage before and he could do this tomorrow. So, a loss could be to the CARDS longterm advantage, but I am selfish and I hope they win so it will shut some of the doubters up. (But that's probably in my dreams)
  15. I agree with you. If there was a problem with the clock keeper, then that's a different issue, but the ball obviously was released in time and should have counted.
  16. No I wasn't. Greenup wasn't the only place Hicks has coached.
