Volleyball Re-districting

Is there any talk of re-visiting the districts for the 08 season. The 29-39th need to be looked at there is one that has 6 teams. I think with some shifting, most everyone could have 4.

 

Does anyone know?

I heard a coach say tonight that he counted 10 districts that have only 3 teams in them. That means at least 10 teams in the state making region without playing a game. How fair is that?? Does anybody know how many baseball/softball districts have only 3 teams?

Their are other regions that have 5 and even 6 teams..It really needs to be re-vamped.

The problem with volleyball's districts is that the sport has exploded in popularity at the high school level in Kentucky. Its seems like only a few years ago that very few schools played; now almost all do. With the constant addition of programs, volleyball needs to redistrict every other year, at least until most schools have added teams. The KHSAA will likely be able to use the girls basketball alignment in the near future.

53rd district just got changed this year...surely not another change in store for next year!

that area seems ok..it is more the Louisville and Central KY area..
