I am interested to see how they will keep their audience with only one character. I'm assuming they'll come up with a plot to create additional characters, maybe artificial. But, I'm intrigued.

The common person doesn't necessarily need to understand the rule but the ruling itself it should make some sense to us common folk.

I actually had more of a problem with the NC State player. Just keep dribbling the ball out top and it's over. He made a dumb decision. I don't blame the Duke player at all. Hell, NC State still fouled him.

I like how Coach K recognized the situation and shook hands with 5 seconds left then got his guys off the court. Let the college kids enjoy the moment.

Makes perfect sense. I know what you meant as your posting history would never lead me to believe you hope he fails. I think it's natural to have some level of skepticism. That doesn't necessarily mean, to me, that you hope he fails. And I doubt many on here truly know if he has changed his ways or not. I would think that everyone hopes he has.

You may be right. But it would make a great story of he was able to turn things around. Maybe he will and maybe he won't. Who am I to make that decision.

I hope he's successful on and off the field. Simply not a fan of rooting against someone. I'll never understand that but to each his own.

TAC, you're way off on this one. This isn't paying players. Are we to assume that the link that Getslow posted is the same article you read? The article says "up to". No way the NCAA is sending a check to each family for $3K. If you drive to the game instead of fly then you aren't getting reimbursed for a plane ticket. I can't see what the big deal is. They make millions on these championships and have finally made a decision that positively impacts someone besides the NCAA and it's still a problem?
