  1. What does Boone County need to do to improve in 2011? What do they need to do to get back to their winning ways? Remember, please be constructive.
  2. I'm not a parent. I have just followed all the Boone County schools for several years, and its a shame how Ryle is just far and beyond Boone. I go to a few games a year, and if I was a parent I would get a group together to try to get some change at least. Your son only gets one shot at high school football.
  3. Yeah, Brown was not utilized at all, which is crazy to think they didn't use him anymore. I looked up Brown's stats on cincinnati.com and he had 10 receptions for 225 yards. That's 22.5 yards per catch. I'm glad he is playing football on the D1 level though.
  4. They've got about the same number of students. The county is growing in great amounts; that's why they're building new schools, and this prehistoric offense is why they haven't won a championship. For them not to win with someone who played in the NFL, and named MVP of the league, should be a huge sign that the offensive scheme doesn't work. And how is a questionnaire going to help these athletes out? The principal should know what is wrong, or ask other coaches on the staff what they think. I just feel bad for these players, like Trevan Brown, who were not utilized enough at all. I also heard that there was alot of controversy over his son playing QB.
  5. I think Lickert would be a great coach that would make huge changes, and do what Thompson doesn't do at all, which is gets the community involved. Thats one of many things that need to be changed, you have many alumni from Boone that would be willing to help boosters for Boone, but there is no boosters at Boone, heck Boone's football team isn't even on the school's website when I went to looked up the basketball roster Lickert would bring organization and be someone the kids could actually look up to and help make them men which is what a coach is suppose to do
  6. If just winning districts is good enough and making it to the 3rd round of the playoffs, then why even go on the field. They had great talent that year and didn't use that talent enough at all. There are great players in Boone County on baseball and basketball teams that won't play because they are mostly wide outs and know they won't play because of the run run run. On the basketball team there are 7 guys over 6' 1" to 6' 9"
  7. What are your thoughts on him and how the program that was once great, is now crumbling?
