I've said to Clyde and MTGL many times, there's nothing more irritating to me than when someone is a complete and total different person on BGP than they are in real life. Although, I'm sure Clyde and MTGL could say the same things about me sometimes. With that said, I'm with Clyde. I never really took you as over the top and you never really fell into that category to me.

There are a ton of factors, IMO. Lifestyle - Hunters/Farmers were more prevalent then. Not to say seeing a human die is the same as an animal but the gore wouldn't shock someone as much, IMO. Understanding - They would classify someone as a drunk or crazy but now they have a mental illness. That's a tribute to advances in modern science. News/Internet/Social Media - You would have never heard about someone going crazy when they came back from the war if it was more than 3 states away.

Regardless, they still need to allow the QB's to pick their own balls to use during the game and those balls will need to be in the hands of the equipment staff and players prior to the start of the game. They are all using the Wilson NFL ball, it's not like they threw in a Nike composite ball.
