The other thread got off course. Lots of talk in there about Holmes Coach Steve Lickert. I will say this, from what I understand it is far from a done deal at Campbell and Coach Lickert is only one of few coaches the Camels are seriously considering.

 

Anyone?

I don't know but if they don't at least make an inquiry to Coach Teegarden at Ryle, Coach Lickert at Holmes and Coach Turner at Highlands they are making a mistake.

What about Brossart from Dixie?

I'm thinking they will go with a defensive minded coach from within their school system.

I believe that whoever becomes the next head coach will come from outside of the school and that Lickert will likely be it.

This says a lot about what Coach Styer did for Campbell County football. Didn't he take the job because they were having trouble filling it?

If CCHS hires Kenny Turner, they've made the biggest mistake ever. I'd still like to see Stephen Lickert, no offense to Lee Teegarden, or Coach Turner.

The word out in the county is that Lickert has the job and should be made official pretty quickly after the christmas break.
