what excuse will the rest of the public schools have?

 

Think about it, NCC and Highlands are as good as it gets in their class. And if Campbell becomes a contender what excuse will the rest of the public schools in KY have? You won't be able to say the evil private school is taking all the good players, you won't be able to say Highlands is "recruiting" all the good players.

 

Maybe you could say high school athletes in the entire county are superior to the other 119 counties, maybe you could say the coaching is better, maybe you could say the administrative support is better.

 

The point I am making is if Coach Lickert is real successful at Campbell there are a lot of public schools that won't be able to avoid looking in the mirror.

Because Highlands is still King of the Mountain in NKY!

I think Ryle would be more apt. Most look at HHS as a machine and an anomaly.

 

Ryle's success should be a goal of the Camels.

What Ryle has done is great, it will be interesting see what they do with a new QB this year.

 

The point of the thread is to point out how good football can be at the Campbell County schools. In other words, if so many schools in the same area can be so good what is different there vs. other areas of the state?

What about Jordan Nevels, Mike Mitchell, Mike Stowers and Sheffield.

The facts are the facts if Coach L gets involed with the new youth program they started out in the county a couple of years ago that is run like the FTJRFL, then GURU, everyone in KY and most importantly NKYFL will need to look at there programs. Many of the players at NCC came through the FTJRFL and of course the HHS teams every year(both state champs this year) If Steven can get the rest of the county people on the band wagon of youth football then i wouldnt see why he can't be a huge hit for the Camels.
