I know NL's 8th grade team got a new kid, his family built a house in the North district, imo much different than what's been discussed.

People, NL has had to deal with this since the school was created. As I said in a thread a couple of weeks ago, as long as SL is allowed to cherry pick NL's best players, NL will not be able to compete. The cherry picking starts as early as little league baseball. I've watched it first hand for the last 10 years. IMO, hiring a coach to get his son eligible is about as low as it gets.

As much as I hate to say it, I think Somerset by a bunch. NL's inexperienced guards struggle with pressure, and from what I've heard, Somerset will bring it. North will struggle early, but should be improve nicely as the season progesses. They have some young talent and an excellent coach. Losing Gilbert to South Laurel really hurt North's program. North Laurel will continue to struggle as long as South Laurel is able to cherry pick North's best young players.

I was right there as well, and I thought it was a catch. To me, it appeared he bobbled it at first, then controlled it with one hand, and got 1 foot in the back of the endzone. Didn't really matter though. The way that Rock's defense totally shut down Bell, all they needed was that first score.

What about the poor sportsmanship shown by Bell's Coach? I thought at times he acted pretty bad. Jumping up and down, running down the sideline at least twice when he didn't get a PI call that he thought he should have. I've never seen a grown man jump as high as he did.

That doesn't make it right. All that tells me is the smaller schools, who may have no shot at winning, are selling out for the almighty dollar.

Rotating between the 3 would be the "fairest" option. Money, travel, whatever, it shouldn't matter... it should be rotated. IMO, it is totally unfair to allow Mason County host the region every year. Being from another Region, I have never understood how this could happen.

This just helps prove my point. Had the transfer brothers not "arrived" at PC, Deaton would probably still be there.
