That Clark-Lincoln game should be a good one. I've seen them both play against Garrard and judging by that, Lincoln should win. However, Garrard played horrible against Lincoln and much more competitively against Clark. The Patriots have an advantage by playing the game in Stanford, although it wouldn't surprise me to see Clark pull one out.

Lincoln County 28, Clark County 21

Lincoln

Whitley

N Laurel

Highlands

Lincoln

Whitley

North Laurel

Highlands

South Laurel and Whitley County both appear to be out of the playoff chase. At 0-3 in the district, they would need to win the rest of their district games and get help with the tie-breaker.

It looks live a 5-way race right now with Lincoln, GRC, Madison Central, Montgomery County and North Laurel. Who's the odd-man-out of this group?

Looking at the remaining schedule, the odd man out will probably be the loser of the North Laurel vs Montgomery Co game. My picks:

GRC (in a game probably too close to call with Lincoln, I would not be surprised at all if Lincoln pulled this one out, ... winner could be this season's district champ IMHO)

South Laurel (could be their only district win this year and may be a very high scoring affair)

North Laurel (should recover well from their turnover filled first half from last week and win a very close game. Montgomery gave them a bit of a scare in a close game last year)

Highlands (Mad Ctrl is very young)

IMO..........GRC may not even score against Lincolns "D", It just gets better by leaps and bounds every game!

SL knocked off a good PSW , but had little luck on offense against Lincoln.
