Madison Southern comes to Log Mountain for Bell Homecoming. Last year's matchup at Berea was a late comeback for Bell to win 21-17. The second round of playoffs matched the two again. Bell dominated from the first drive to win 38-7. MS played Knox Central close last week. What kind of team are they bringing this year?

I was told that both Madison County schools are down this year.

Bell needs to come out and dominate a team they should beat. They have played mediocre against teams everyone thought they would wear out.

Down...maybe a little compared to the past couple of years, but they are both very young.

 

Madison Central lost 26 seniors last season and has had to break in a lot of new guys. If the Indians make the playoffs, which they should, I wouldn't be suprised at all to see them in the regional championship regardless of what seed they get.

 

As for Madison Southern, I know they lost a lot of seniors last year as well. Not sure exactly how many they lost, but I didn't expect them to win very many games this year. I don't see them beating Bell County.

Madison Southern will be airing it out and will be playing catch up to a Bell County team who wants to finally make a statement.

Bell County will be back at home for the 1st time in a while and be fired up after a dissapointing week last week and take care of business in this one. Bell will win this game pretty big!
