They certainly did, and we are humbled by it. But the the final check in, is in December, that is the most important one. We will be checking in to Bowling Green for the state championship game and we plan to check out with another state championship title.

So sad, Your family, team and community will be in our thoughts and prayers from Bell co.

The only thing keeping this game close will be Bell hitting them in the mouth like they have never been hit before.

Most people associated with the Bell County program say this is by far the best team to ever come on the hill, I will have to agree with them even though 07 Lex. Cath. and 04 Highlands were pretty darn good teams. This alcoa team has depth, speed and talent. Bell has speed and talent and is somewhat lacking on depth. But one thing I can tell you, the Bell kids are determined, confident but not cockey, they are going win this game. Most of these kids have only lost 5 or 6 football games since they have been playing football in grade school, and they just don't except loosing nor do they ever hit the field that they don't think they are going to win the game. Regardless of the outcome I guarantee you are going to see a slobber knocker, head banging, all out brawl Friday night on Log Mtn. As Hugh Delk used to say, you can check in the Hilton on Log Mtn. you just can't check out!!!!!! Go Cats!

You are correct, they are the 2a State Champs. They are now 3A, is that correct.

The biggest game in the mountains is 4a state champ Bell County taking on 3A Tenn state champs, Alcoa TN. (6 time running might I add). Alcoa is where Randell Cobb played his high school ball.

Bell seems to have alot of speed, possibly more than last year! :walk::walk:

I attened the scrimmage and Bell went through them and Bullitt East with ease. Yes, Lincoln scored 3 or 4 times but not once on Bells first bunch. Bell is still holding 2 starters that have slight muscle tears, They played all of them on Friday night.

Bell had all blue helments for 2 or 3 years in the early to midle 2000's.

7 on 7 guys, Bell went full friday night for the first time. They are going to camp at Feltner with Bullitt East, Lincoln, & Green up!

They better be. 2 of the 6 teams had a winning record last year. I don't know what Coach Mills is thinking. He isn't going to get any better playing 3 class A teams. maybe a reason behind it. Coach Mills has done some great things down there so far.
