Alcoa 5 time defending Class 2A state champions in TN coming to Log Mountain what kind of chance does Bell County have in keeping the states longest winning streak alive?

If Bell is gonna win this one, they have to control the clock. They also need to play a near perfect game with little to no turnovers, I'm hoping for a great game up on the mountain.

I agree they can't give up the big plays and can't let them have the ball. It has to be 3 plays and out. Bell will have to be 3 yards and a cloud of dust.

I'm not a fan of either team and have no rooting interest either way.

I think it will be very difficult for Alcoa to make the trip to log mountain and leave with a win. Bell brings the wood in all phases of the game and they have great talent. While Alcoa is a tough team also, I would pick the home team every time when these two get together (everything else being equal).

I sure hope you are right.

I love them Bobcats but I don't see them pulling it off. I don't think they have developed the killer instinct yet. But I sure hope they can pull it off.

I saw a few Alcoa players at the U.T. football camp. They're center is exceptional. The U.T. coaches seemed very interested in him. They are very tough physically. I watched them play a few years ago in the state semi-final. They beat you up physically. I may be wrong but I don't think so, but Alcoa's only losses over the past 5 seasons has been to neighboring rival Maryville which has won the TN 4A championship 4 of the last 5 years having lost in the finals last year.

Bell County will have their work cut out for them.

I know little of Alcoa, but have checked out some of their past teams via Youtube, and they had some fine looking athletes on the field. From what I've read on other forums, many think Alcoa will destroy Bell, but they also face Maryville the week after, adn may not want to show too much. A win by Bell should send a message to the rest of AAAA.

I can see Bell County to send a message right away. Don't be surprised if Bell County comes away with a win even though Alcoa has some fine athletes. I honestly picked Alcoa to win the game but like I said, don't be surprised if Bell County wins.

I've not seen Bell get destroyed up on log mountain in quite some time. They bring it at home. I wouldnt neccesarily say 3 yards and a cloud of dust, this team has a ton of speed and some very good athletes.

All I can say is this has to be the #1 game to watch for week #0. I wish I could be on Log Mountain this Friday! Good luck Bell Co. make Ky proud!

I agree with you it that it has t o be one of the #1 games of the week. I would love to see Bell County make KY proud. It will be a hard task at hand for Bell to pull off the major upset.
