Bell has a great tradition but it's not like they haven't been blown out before or dominated. Every team with even better results than the Bobcats have been bested by "better athletes" at some point or time. :thumb:

I'll say 34-13 Alcoa. Hope Bell wins but I'm also being realistic.

I am just having trouble voting against the Bell County boys. I just think they'll figure out a way to win.

I never realized they've never lost by more than 2 TD's before. Every program has given up great games to great players before, even better programs than Bell.

I wished them well earlier but you are about to make me wish I had not.

A cursory look at scores tells me all I need to know.

Can't recall the athletes on that team but it doesn't look like they were held down too much.

The 2006 Henry Clay game was much closer than the score. Bell was up 14-13 and had the ball 4th and inched with I believe 3 or 4 minutes left in the ball game. Bell had a bad snap on a very wet night on a QB sneak and fumbed. Henry Clay went down and scored. Then they scored off a Bell Co. turnover late if I'm not mistaken.

 

In 97 when Bell played CovCath Coach Hilton was winning a state championship at Bourbon Co.

 

In 99 Lawrence Co. beat Bell handily. 2 years later in 2001 Bell went to Lawrence Co. Michael West's senior year and won 8-0. They also had a QB that played at Marshall I believe who was a great athlete. That Lawrence Co. team was 12-00. Then in 2004 Bell lost 14-10 to a loaded Highlands team in a game where Bell outgained Highlands like 230 yards to 80 yards, but had 2 costly fumbles.

Surely putting the blame on the zebra's can wait til AFTER the game. :laugh: It's a little early to start with that horse and pony show!! Bell's lost games on Log Mt. before and I'm sure the zebra situation is the same with every home team. Sounds like you're wishing a little to bad for the Bobcats to lose.
