This treads topic is "Trinity Fans Only". I suppose TigerCard and xtiger are Rock fans. That's okay, the Rock family welcomes everyone. Rumors are rumors, coaches come and go. If Beatty leaves, the Rock family wishes him well, if he stays, I can see 17th and 18th title in the future.

Trinity St. Xavier Lexington Catholic NCC Bowling Green Russell Owensboro Catholic Mayfield Without any doubt Trinity proved they are the best team in state. It was an amazing game to watch. Reminded me of the '02 championship against Male, but in a sense of defense instead of offense. Trinity and St. Xavier (even though they lost) proved to be the best teams in the state and a match-up against any lower class teams would be a joke.

If history has any say, he'll play for his dad. Coach Petrino played for his dad in college.

Petrino will be allstate QB next year.

Plenty of RB's and WR's ready to play. Haven't you heard, Trinity reloads every year.

Coach Beatty and staff are TOPS. Coaching staff never gave up this year while players were getting hurt. This is one of the first years underclassman got some real Varsity playing time. My voice is still sore from shouting Friday night and singing in the parking lot. CONGRATS TRINITY FOOTBALL........

With all this talk back and forth, I just want to know one thing "Why did Glaser already have a State Championship Ring designed and his players fitted? What does this tell you about Glaser? Why would an 8th grader want to play for a man who puts the horse in front of the cart.........

WAY TO GO ROCKS...No other word besides WOW. Rocks went in as the under dog and came out as the Big Dog. Great job goes to Coach Beatty and his staff for preparing their players. I said in a earlier thread, T couldn't get bigger and faster the last two months, but they did get smarter. So much for all the comments from people on BGP about "T is in the weaker bracket". Not just a few players played great, the entire TEAM played great. Again, HUGE congrats to Coach Beatty & staff, players and fans for a GREAT season. Very much looking forward to a repeat........

Has anybody said coaching? What about the backing of the school system? Everyone has better athletes (for the most part), but T and X's coaches know how to place the talent in the correct postions to win ball games. Did I say coaching?

Maybe not bigger and stronger BUT smarter. You do need some brains to play this game. X players will walk on the field Friday night with a chip, as they should, but the ROCKS plan on knocking it off. This game will be totally different than the first game. If I recall correctly, the ROCKS hurt Anderson the first game and he was out a few weeks, correct. Being hit in 30 degree weather hurts alot more. Hmmmmmm GO ROCKS>>>>>

Is X worn out from their tough road to the final? Does T see the ring at the end of the tunnel? This will be a good hard fought game with both teams laying it out to the final second. After watching T against HC, X will have to be worried about another RB (Petrino). Nick ran the ball as good as our other RB's. Game will come down to a final minute field goal kicked by T, so I'm predicting the Rocks by 1-3 points. GO ROCKS>>>>TAKE STATE>>>>>>

Well OX, I don't think he spent that much time at Manual to prove himself. I think Trinity molded him into player who could potentially play varsity. T and X are good at taking an average kid and turning them into something special.

How about Jeffersontown, KY.....

Hey OX...he wasn't a mid-season transfer. He transferred at the beginning of school year. He didn't like a few things about Manual and Trinity was willing to allow this fine young man into their school. He didn't play varsity for Manual so was a release required? That's a question for the school admin people.

LSU, I'm on my own most of the time. I've watched Burke the last several years and he has received alot of ink. More so than last years Savko. Not sure you can compare Lex Cath to X with T and X this year. Several factors, mainly at the QB spot. I'll compare after 12/2, if that is alright. I knew my comments would stir a few replies. Just one's opinion. Good luck to you Burke at NC State.

Elitists!! I don't think so. Okay, Burke got beat by St X, what does that tell you? 3A powers, well the Ballard QB would of shined against them. I'm just saying the level of competition Burke has played against isn't 4A or even higher -- NC State level. I'm sorry to say, HATZ, bigger isn't always better. I still haven't heard the answer, how does one qualify to be on this list? Does the coaches vote on them or is it BGP people that know everything? Okay LSU, I just threw Petrino out there because he has matured into a nice QB, regardless of SR vs JR.

I suppose this list of players are deserving, but when was the last time you saw a DE on the list? How can one say it's a one man race? Look at the teams Burke has played against!! Why not look at a Petrino, K.J. Black, Senn or X's QB? Is it because these four guys live in Louisiville? These four guys are just as athletic then the ones mention. This isn't a public vs private issue, this is a State vs. Jefferson County issue. I suppose I need to find out the definition or how one qualifies to be on this list because I've seen Burke play and Senn is a better player......period.

Trinity by 30 points. Haven't seen nor heard why it should be any different than last week. If H/C has a running back who goes both ways, hopes he's in good shape or the Rocks D/O line will wear him out by the 3rd quarter. Beatty is hungry to get back to the big dance and won't let this game get in his way. GO ROCKS................

Congrats Eric. It's been fun watching you on the field the last four years. Hope to see at least three more games out of you in the green uniform. After you graduate from Yale, maybe you can come back and be the A.D. or President or Principle or Coach or Teacher or all of the above at T.H.S.

The Rocks better have respect for any NKY team? We got beat by one last year!!!!! Again, I think I'll see a Rock victory, but it won't be easy.

One thing is for sure, the field will not be muddy. I predict a Trinity win in a major way. After watching 13 straight points scored early last Friday, the entire team and fans were awaken. If Boone runs the ball, Rocks D will stake the middle. The difference will be Boone's ability or inability to stop the pass, well maybe run, well lets just say the entire Rocks offense.
