Besides the three players mentioned above, I heard there are twins from Cincy moving to Louisville, both are WR and DB's. Then another from Indianapolis who will be a JR, 6'4", 215 pds, QB and received several honors, and also has arm like Petrino, but alittle stronger. Sounds like some nice additions to a team that is in need.

Coach Beatty is just like any other man, just trying to make a living. Most employers give annual increases to their employees if they produce and Trinity is no different. You're right, a few coaches could win at Trinity given time, but NOT LIKE BEATTY has done it. Coach Beatty has won and lost with less talented players than other schools. But with every loss, the Rocks get stronger. Beatty will remain head coach for another year and hopefully will retire at the Rock.

I've heard enough. LSU, are you saying the 2000 & 2004 weren't winners? Maybe not state championship winners, but their may be more kids from the 2004 team that are playing college ball than the 2005 team. Matter of fact, if you compared each postion, you might even say the 2000 & 2004 teams had better talent. I think each team for the past seven years had their own niche. Why compare, just enjoy because every kid that goes through Trinity football are winners............

I know they didnt win the state championship, but were forgetting about the 2000 and 2004 teams. Both of those teams were pretty solid. I would take both those teams over the last two state championship teams.

I think blocking is a little different than chasing X's RB down. My money is on X's RB if Dane had to run to the sideline. Rocks have used their guards quit a bit in double teams. I might have to say Robey is also at the top of the OL when it comes to speed.

I don't see how you can credibly claim that this playoff arrangement doesn't help the Rocks. I bet you're glad you didn't have to play X the week before Male this year. No H, the Rocks had to play Male before Henry Clay this year. IMO Henry Clay would have been Male this year. Easier road, who's buying this argument? You have to play the game and the best team wins, period. No one from X or Male have complained about injuires in their quest to the championship game in the past few years.

If you were to ask the Henry Clay announcer, he would say, the official unofficial attendance will be 42,357 people.

Everythng I'm reading is telling me that the Rocks need to get stronger. Ryle intends to roll right over the ROCKS. Ryle's defensive may give Trinity's offense several looks!!! I suppose they have never heard of Coverdale? Not the team of the past, no joking, they are the team of present who is coming off two great wins. Rocks roll in a big way, even though it may be a little wet. T 37 R 14. GO ROCKS.

Let me first start off by saying, I'm a Nick fan and have been for two years. Lets not forget, Alex beat Trinity in the 7 on 7 tourney in June at U of L. Does anyone know Alex's numbers compared to Nick's numbers? This would tell the story. Again, I'm a Nick fan, but Alex appeares to be a very good competitor behind the center.

Congrats to the lineman mention above, but lets not forget about T's defensive players who also received first team honors. Williams (DB), Petrino (DB), Weitlauf (LB), Fleichler ?? (DL), McDermott (DL) & Deeds (OLB).

Im just glad more than 10 Trinity students showed up for the game Friday.

Im not sure how the Lit ratings are put together or calculated but for Trinity to be ranked behind both Male and St. Xavier is a joke. If my memory serves me correct the Lit ratings dont consider out of state games. And thats Trinity only lose. They havent lost in state so this doesnt seem right. Get rid of the ratings. Rankings dont mean anything.

How can you not place Nick's name on the ballot for Mr. Kentucky? Anderson couldn't lead his team past the second round. Beaumont couldn't lead his team past the third round. Nick has proven time after time he is a leader. Do you really have to be the biggest or strongest to be Mr. Kentucky? I don't think so. My vote goes to an undersized player who knows how to lead his team to victory. He has two more to go.

If Ryle goes to the state final, he goes on the first team all state team. Anderson nor Beaumont is no longer in the picture.

How can a St. X fan make such a statement??? Have you even seen HC play this year? I doubt it. Trinity coaches, players and fans will give HC the respect they deserve......because they don't make stupid comments. Good luck to both teams, but more to the ROCKS. GO ROCKS.....

No way. I have to work til 5p.m. as well. They can tell the TV crew to take a long lunch hour and televise it at 7:30pm. As for the prediction, I'll have to think about it till later this week. Can't get the Male game out of my head. :ylsuper:

Broken ankle. You could definitely tell a difference when #42 wasn't out there. Another game for the ages, only thing you can say is WOW. What a game played by both teams. Male has a very good ball team and Trinity refused to give up. Offense wins games and defense wins championships and last night was like a championship. Congrats to Rocks and lets win two more.
