Nick Petrino

OK, Rock fans I read the stat that Nick Petrino had completed 153 passes without an interception. I assume he didn't throw one tonight going 16 of 17 as I saw in another thread.

 

How good is this kid? I am not 100 percent on his numbers but I believe I read like 26-2 TD-INT ration and over 2,500 yards.

 

Those are some gaudy numbers. Can he play at the D-I level?

He is an excellent high school QB but he is not a D1 football player.

He can not play D-1...statistically he is as good as there is...if he were 6' or taller, they would be knocking down his door...the 'Ru has seen him numerous times and he is a superstar...but way to small for the big boys.

I think Beatty is a better H.S coach. I just could not see Petrino coaching well at H.S. It's not a business yet at H.S or at least it should not be. The rocks are pretty good as it is with Beatty. 4 rings in 6 years?

But back to the topic, Nick has a great football mind and more or less knows what to do in situations. I think he will go to D1AA. His dad might have some connections, maybe

I was not talking about high school...I was talking about the KY -vs- Tenn all star game...I am just fine with Bob on our sidelines, and Cove in our booth.
