I've been to over 100 high school gyms across the state and Marshall County, Mason County, Hopkinsville, and Perry Central are among the best I've seen. I would pick Marshall County as the best based on facilities, line of sight, scoreboard, sound, and ambiance.

Maybe, but I know that not every coach votes. And I'm also not privy to how the C-j breaks ties betwee first, second, and third teams.

That kind of surprised me as well. Of course, I'm not sure any of their position players were better than any on the list but as a collective group, they were among the best.
