I Mike Lawson leaving Marshall County official?

Yes. Was reported by the papers in Paducah and E-town that he was taking the Central Hardin job.

Cawood's was open for 3 days but has now been filled. Eric Perry, Defensive Coordinator at Harlan Independent, was named Cawood's new Head Coach on Thursday, 1/11/07.

Isn't Berea still open or did I miss something?

Eric Perry has done a good job at Harlin. A very good hire.

What is Eric Perry's coaching background?

Assistant to his brother at Garrard County in 90s...brother is now Defensive Coordinator at Danville...Eric was also assistant a couple of years at Danville (one state runner-up squad). He has been at Harlan for the past 5 years. Harlan has had top 5 Region 4 defense every year during that span and was the Region's best statistically last year (2006).

Chris Morris was promoted to be Hancock County's new coach.

Lloyd is still available! Would Yeagle consider this job? Will CCH's coach apply to Elder if it opens and then who does CCH hire or go after?

Where did Lloyd's old coach go?

At the present time he is still a teacher at LLoyd and wants to coach however, not as a Head Coach. He is looking at his options from what I heard over the weekend. JD

This may be a personal question but why did he leave Lloyd?

BLACKSHIRTS, That is a very good question and in his last interview with the papers he stated he did not want to be a head coach he would just rather coach and not have all the responsibilities. That is as much as I know and I am close to the program. JD
