Absolutely incredible start for the Tomcats!

The Tomcats were led in scoring tonight by junior Danny Coleman, who had 18 points in 16 minutes. The entire team played well and played 8 deep with contributions from Tyler Salyer, Matt Rowe, and Shane Fairchild. Drew McDavid had 16, Thomas 13 points and 16 rebounds, yes thats 16 rebounds. Tyler Salyer scored 12 off the bench and Wilcox added 9. The Tomcats were plagued by fould trouble throughout the game with Bonner, Thomas, and Coleman eventually fouling out. Ashland shot 62% from the field and was 6/13 from 3. You have officially been warned. :ylsuper:

Nice win for Ashland. I appreciate the warning from GIAT but I am not sure what danger that we should all anticipate. Hopefully, GIAT hasn't spotted inclement weather with spinning gusts of wind.

I never said Rock Hill was a "traditional power". But they do have a good team. #14 and #44 were both very nice inside players, they just couldnt keep up with the Tomcats. Ashland was extremely active on both end of the floor and were shooting lights out tonight. Those who thought Ashland had no bench are sorely mistaken.

Well GIAT won't have to change his avatar until at least Tuesday night. Man what a night off the glass for Matt. That has to be his career high for rebounds.
